Caroling on the Circle
El Centro Cultural collaborates with the Sussex County Council to provide entertainment.  Spanish Christmas Carols called “villancicos” are performed by the Hispanic children’s choir Flor y Canto from St. Michael’s Catholic Church and Christmas music in English and Spanish was performed by the local marimba group called Lyra Marquense.

Starry, Starry Night
El Centro Cultural participates in the planning committee for Delaware Tech’s annual fundraising gala.  El Centro Cultural also sponsors tickets for outstanding Hispanic college students.

Bilingual Summer Enrichment Program
El Centro Cultural partners with First State Community Action Agency’s La Casita after school program to provide art education, art supplies, and bilingual teachers 2 days a week for 5 weeks to teach children about traditions focusing on Mexico and Guatemala.

Other Community Events
El Centro Cultural sponsors artists to perform at local community events in Sussex County.  Past events include:
